Our solar PV Broadband service lets you monitor your solar PV system in near real time through
PassivLiving, our online monitoring dashboard. The regularity of the data feed means you can evaluate not only what your system is generating, but whether it is suffering from intermittent faults – something you simply don’t get with monitoring solutions providing data less often. It is the ultimate ‘peace of mind’ package for homeowners, maintenance providers and finance houses, who may have funded the system’s installation. It is also a hardware and service solution designed to grow with needs and demands;
PassivHub captures solar PV generation data but with the installation of a few additional PassivSystem’s monitoring products in the home, the same PassivHub can be upgraded remotely to manage a home’s gas / oil fired heating and hot water system. And if a homeowner chooses
PassivController it can both show them what their system is ‘generating now’ as well as acting as a control device for their heating and hot water once they have subscribed to the PassivSystems heating and hot water management service.
Our GSM service is designed for properties where broadband is either not available, unreliable or subject to regular supplier change (for example homes that are rented).
Generation data is collected at 30-minute intervals and uploaded to PassivLiving once a day, ensuring maintenance providers and system owners get a good level of insight into system performance and can act to ensure assets are protected.
We also provide a weekly generation summary service to a select number of installer partners / system owners, helping system owners manage meter readings remotely and compare performance at a high level.
