Standby for a change
We’ve focussed first on central heating and hot water because that’s where most of us use most energy. But up to 8% of the energy we use in the home can be from products on standby.
Soon we’ll help manage electrical appliances as part of the PassivEnergy service. Our standby power strips will detect when appliances are not being used and remove the power (whilst we are out, for example), saving energy and money.
